THE MISSION

The project was designed as a new 85,000-square-foot facility to house both a museum and administrative headquarters in Fort Worth's Cultural District. The striking five-story design included two levels of dedicated museum exhibition space, three floors of administrative offices, and a façade clad in a perforated, copper-tone aluminum rain screen.

The Challenge

Integrating corporate headquarters with heavy-foot-traffic cultural exhibition spaces requires complex zoning of public and private environments within a single footprint.

THE STEWARDSHIP

We served as the Owner's representative, guiding the project through the Design Development phase before it was placed on hold following the passing of its lead benefactor.

The Team

Gluckman Tang (design architect), Kendall Heaton (architect of record), and 2x4 (branding and exhibit design)
