CSP Featured in Sarasota Orchestra's Behind the Music Magazine
Cultural Strategic Partners was recently featured in the Spring 2026 issue of Behind the Music, the Sarasota Orchestra Friends' digital magazine, for our role as owner's representative on the new Music Center — a landmark performing arts facility that will be one of the most unique purpose-built cultural music centers in Florida and the country.
In the feature, CSP President Matt Edwards sat down with the magazine to discuss the project's progress and CSP's role in bringing this ambitious vision to life. As Matt described it, CSP serves as the project's "eyes and ears," coordinating over 20 vendors and experts, translating complex technical information into clear decisions, and ensuring the Orchestra's vision stays at the center of every choice — from acoustical requirements to facade materials to landscape design.
The Sarasota Orchestra Music Center has been more than a decade in the making. The 32-acre campus will include a state-of-the-art 1,800-seat concert hall, a flexible 700-seat performance space, rehearsal facilities, a music library, community event space, and 12 acres of wetlands and natural settings. Design development is expected to conclude this spring, with construction potentially beginning in 2027 and the community welcoming its first performance during the 2029–2030 season.
It's a privilege to be part of a project this transformative — one that will shape the cultural life of Sarasota and the Gulf Coast region for generations to come.
